Painter Duck

Happy Tuesday My Dear Friends Today I am sharing another card I made using this adorable new image by Artist Naz Smith owner of Sasayaki Glitter.   This handsome fella is called Painter Duck and from what I can tell already - he's got some artistic talent.    Painter Duck can be found here in the Sasayaki Glitter Etsy Shop: Painter Duck I love how his tongue is sticking out to the side - I think it's because he takes his painting quite seriously.  I often wonder if I am doing the same thing when I am coloring with my Copics.  To be honest - I hope not because I wouldn't look as CUTE as he does. I used the following Copic Colors: BG13, 15, 18 C3, 5, 7 V20, 22, 25, 28 YG21, 23 YR20, 23, 24, 27 I also used a stencil to create the background. I hope he brings you a smile today. Pig Pile (A Big Pile of Cuteness)

Happy Happy Saturday Sweet Friends
It's been a pretty good week but so far this weekend is way to hot for me.  I was told by a wonderful friend of mine that fires are out of control and more possible in Canada.  It's just heartbreaking and I hope and pray these fires will be put out soon and everyone is safe.  I hope you are all safe too!!

I just have to share a DT card I made using this new image by Artist Sandra Caldwell named Pig Pile.  I love this image - I think these pigs are just way to cute.  On top of that the pig on the top left has an expression on his face that is just like my daughters pug.  HeeHee it just cracks me up.  I also used the saying "Let's Stay Home" because it looks to my like the last thing these pigs want to do is go somewhere.

I colored the pigs with copics.  Fussy cut the image out and added it to the wood theme background paper.  Tore off a strip of plaid cardstock to create the floor.  Added the swirly cardstock strip to the top and …

A Sasayaki Glitter Kind of Day!!

Happy Happy 4th of July My Sweet Friends
What are you plans for today/tonight?  Family barbeques and watching the fireworks?  I am hoping it will be a little less loud tonight.  Our neighbors have been keeping us away with their loud fireworks and a couple of time I was caught off guard and ended up screaming.  They really scared me.
I know it's a holiday today but I just have to share a couple of projects with you today.  I am a "Glitter Girl" which means I am a Design Team member with Sasayaki Glitter.  It's just fabulous being a part of this team.  Thank you Naz - I am thrilled to be a part of your Design Team.

Hippo Woman

Hello My Sweet Friends
It's Friday, the sun is shining, there's a gorgeous breeze and I am inside for the time being.  LOL!!!  I will be sharing quite a few projects over the next week - so I hope you will stay tuned.  How has your week been?  Have you been busy creating gorgeous projects?

Today I am sharing my Design Team project using this adorable hippo image from artist Sandra Caldwell.  This cutie is name:  Hippo Woman.  As you can see there are two different images using the same image.

I just fell in love with this image.  I had so much fun using Copics to color her.  I also used some cardstock to create the background.  I used the same color theme so it would look like she belonged in the scene.  HeeHee!!!  The only problem I am having is thinking of a sentiment or quote to use.  Silly me!!
I put away my Copics (a little to early) and need to go back and get the colors I used to color Hippo Woman.  You can also find her here at the following links:
